Good deal - the FAL and I will be there!

Trying to keep my rules straight - if I have a scope on my .308 rifle I'm in Tac Optics with the .223 guys, right? That means 2 shots anywhere or 1 shot in the 0-zone to neutralize - regardless of the caliber?

Or is this pure IDPA scoring, with 1/2 second added per point down? Edited by Matt in TN

IMG scoring, 1 -0 or A zone to neutralize on paper targets.

Or Two Hits anywhere...,

Or a Single Hit anywhere for Heavy Metal...,

Is this correct for Saturday?

Works for me. You can always use a shotgun with slugs, now that is heavy metal. How about a .50 Barrett, one hit anywhere around the target.

But you're only Heavy Metal if you take the scope off. There's no Heavy Optics in IMG rules. I'll keep my scope (don't want to mess up my good zero!) and go Tac Optics against all the .223 guys. I need some more controlled pair practice anyway!

I'll leave the Barrett at home for now...., I keep telling the club that there is no way that the range could handle the Surface Danger Area of a 50BMG round.

I'm going to shoot one of my small-bore ARs this Saturday since "somebody" talked me into a 3Man-3Gun next month!

As long as it doesn't look like rain I will try to be there.  Had foot surgery last week but the Doc said it would be fine to do the 3-gun as long as I don't dunk it in a hole full of water.  Should be interesting shooting with the IV of antibiotics in a fanny pack.

Hope you guys had a good time.  With the rain and the hole I'm having to stuff with gauze in my foot I didn't need to get out in the lovely weather this morning.  I was really wanting to get out and play with the Tav-D trigger in the Tavor.  Hopefully next time.

Ha, that'll be my first order of business when I get home tomorrow. Honestly it might have just had underpowered ammo that wouldn't cycle it. I made that ammo for my other gun and it loves them. It's what I usually run in a rifle match. I think it wasn't enough to cycle the piston though. I think it's only like 22gr's of wc844 to my usual 26 behind a 55gr FMJ.
