Been wanting one of these for awhile so thought I would share.  This one is a .357 Magnum still in the factory box with registration, manual and NRA papers.  Revolver still in the original Ruger plastic wrapping.  Doesn't appear to be fired at all...............yet!!!  I'm gonna have to take this one out for a range date soon.

No, I surely wish I did! I do have an old Smith 547(?), I think that's the model #.

But again, that is a very nice Ruger! About the only thing close to the S&W Model 19 that I would like to add to my budding Ruger family.

I bought one of these from a retired old guy through his friend at work. Evidently it was a little too much for him at his age.

The guy told me his friend only shot a few rounds out of it and just couldn't handle it. It looked like it hadn't been shot at all when I got it.

I also have the box and all, but mine is stainless steel.

I put the Hogue grip on because I don't like the feel of the wooden Ruger grip. I still have the original grip on the box.

I might have shot two boxes of ammo out of this gun in all the years I've owned it. I believe I bought it around 1997.

That is sweet!  I do have an affinity for revolvers........a sickness, really.  Agree with your comment on the grips.  Wood grips are pretty but not the most comfortable shooting platform.

What length barrel does yours have? It looks longer in the picture than mine.

Typical 6" barrel.

I love these old rugers. That one looks great. I have a service six that is only second to the Dan Wesson.

Great gun! Congrats on the condition of this one! Edited by Parrothead

Mine looks to be more short. When I get back home from CA, I'll look and see what length barrel my six has.
