RatWorx/Manticore Arms ZXR Integrated 9mm Tavor Suppressor

This was revealed last weekend at the Bullpup Convention.  I'm not really into the 9mm Tavor but I love the thought that went into this.  Lots of credit to them for this product.

So its a combination fore end and suppressor setup.  It comes with a brake that fits into the baffle stack and acts as a blast baffle.  It can be swapped back to unsuppressed with just the screw that holds on the fore end or by removing the stack from the fore end.

I have some unanswered questions about it still. It certainly is a unique concept turning the forearm into the can but that brings its own challenges. Like now you are forced to use the silencer as the forearm and hold it. And what happens when you shoot it without the baffles while waiting for your form 4? Does all that blast fill the forearm and vent through the slots where your hand is? How does the baffle stack seal inside the forearm? If it leaves any kind of gap it will still vent back into the forearm to vent onto your hand.

I'm sure (hopefully) he found a solution to these concerns before selling them. I just haven't seen any details about it.

I like the look and feel of the Tavors but they do blow crud back in your face when shooting suppressed.  Nothing against the Tavor itself, It's just something bullpups unfortunately inherit.

But the RW boys do some damn nice work no doubt!

Not all bullpups are bad with this issue. My Aug gives me less blow back than my AR does. It's just how they are designed.

The Tavor's issue can mostly be mitigated by installing a FLEx though.
