New member from portland (north of nashville). I'm 23 just picked up my first autoloader the other day. I got a ruger p93dc. Let me hear any opinions you might have on the gun. Plan on going to the range this weekend and taking a CC course within the next month. I am already looking to buy my next gun once I get my Permit. Probably a Taurus millennium or xd subcompact.

Welcome to the Forum!

Congratulations on on getting the Ruger.

All the Rugers that I have shot were reliable and accurate.

In Tennessee the "CC" is a Handgun Carry Permit. HCP.

I know little about Taurus Autos, but I like Taurus revolvers.

Welcome! I am a big fan of Ruger. My only beef with them is that they will not ship parts to the owners; (I like to fix my own) however, they are VERY dependable and rarely need repair. Enjoy.:)
