Sounds like "someone" scheduled our untimely death for 11:15 today. It is odd to think we could have been killed at the same time regardless of where we were had my wife not been paying attention.

Sounds like you used up all your luck for the rest of the year. I'd be real careful from here on out. :hiding:

 

Or maybe they used up their quota of close calls for the rest of the year and can now relax but remain vigilant.

 

Okay, that is my burst of optimism for the week.  We now return to our regularly scheduled, cynical world view (some may call it pessimism - I call it realism.)

Maybe instead, somebody really loves you. In truth, you weren't even injured. You were shaken up and now realize how lucky you are to be alive. Sometimes that knowledge is a gift.
