In response to the "security breech" at the Kenyan Compound, I mean "The White House", they are now proposing security checkpoints outside the grounds to screen folks who dared walk too close to the King's castle.  I said this when I went to DC in 2009 and I'll say it again, I won't set foot in that communist pigsty again unless it involves carrying a rifle and expelling the communists.

I believe in Memphis you go through security to walk down Beale Street.  I am not sure a larger security perimeter for the WH is over the top.

So getting a TSA-esque search done on your person for walking down a public street is something your OK with?  Got it.

I see barriers and checkpoints.

Knoxville on occasion has checkpoints near the courthouse when there are public protests scheduled.
