Most any size will do...anything from 5" to 13" I'm most interested in. Reason I ask is if you do I was wondering if anyone could trace it out on a piece of paper handle and all....fold it up and put it in the mail to me. I'd like to try making one but I'd like to get the shape right....or at least close. So if anyone is interested in doing this just shoot me a PM and I'll give you my address. Thanks.

Couldn't you just enlarge that pic you poste to the size you want and print it out? Edited by BigK

Why don't you just trace from the pic?

Edit: Beaten to it. Though that pic looks like it wasn't taken from directly above so some adjustment might be required or just find a different pic..

Edit2: A quick google shows quite a lot of variance in the shape in any case so I'm sure you'll be free to bring some of that Grand Torino styling that we all love to it anyway.

YouTube will show how they do it in Nepal. It's a lot of work.

I've gone that route before. With something that could possibly get fairly large I was just wondering it anyone would care to trace it.

Thanks but I'd rather not borrow the real thing.

It's not quite as much work when doing stock removal. Forging it, yes, cutting/grinding, not quite. I've forged one, with the help of Spots and it took awhile. Grinding that curve is difficult though.
