Hi,  My name is John and I'm from Chattanooga.  Just joined and wanted to say hi and introduce myself.  I am originally from the UK, been in the USA for 15 years, just moved to the south from the Chicago area where the only people with firearms are the gangters:).  I am former British Military and now a technician in Chattanooga.

 

My wife and I live in the Chattanooga City limits and unable to discharge our firearms on our property which consists of just 3 acres, so we have to ride to a friends house to shoot.  I am interested to find out the laws on shooting on your own property, which Counties allow it and which don't.

Good luck with finding a place to shoot worry free, personally I am not a fan of places that have wacky restrictions. I'm not too familiar with Chattanooga but have noticed the area seems to have a good bit of liberals (by reading their paper and comments). At least you've got a friend with a place to shoot.

I recently brought a mossberg 930. I have run about 25 rounds through it. Real enjoyed it. Two days I did my first field strip on it and noticed what seams to be a seam or crack. Has anyone not this on their 930? I contacted Mossberg and now waiting on a reply. Couldn't upload a pic sorry
