PSA Shipping

Anyone recently purchase from Palmetto State Armory? What is their normal time frame for shipping? I placed my first order last Friday and my credit card was charged almost immediately, but the online status of the order just says processing. I've heard they may be slow to ship sometimes. I don't mind waiting, but it just annoys me, when they charge the credit card, then just 'process' forever.

I've had orders at my house for days that still showed as processing. I'd say typical ship time is about 3-4 days but much longer for a firearm, upper and ammo.

I still can't seem to figure out the search function here, but about once a month there's a thread posted about PSA shipping.  Seems like it's standard that they ship 2 weeks after order, regardless of whether it's in stock, time of year or if it's high volume time.  Almost to the day, every time I order, it takes two weeks before it's shipped.  I'm pretty sure it says that on their site too.  I'm beginning to think that this is some kind of SOP which allows them to stay small even when there is a big run after Obama starts picking up pens and phones.

I had a lower from them that showed processing two months after I had it in my hands.

They ship some small items in a couple days to a week, most lowers/uppers within 3 weeks is my experience.

What did you order? I got some 556 ammo recently and a pistol and it shipped really quickly. My upper earlier this year took 3-4 weeks.

I ordered some 5.56 middle of last week and UPS delivered it on Wednesday evening this week.  It was a good deal and right at one week to my door.

PSA has really stepped up the shipping lately from what it looks like.

They also haven't had any crazy deals in the past couple of weeks.  ;)

I've ordered a lot of stuff from them....but I have patience, unlike many of the now, now, now generation.

I've always been happy with their shipping times, I believe two weeks has been the longest I've waited. I know Bravo Company has the fastest shipping of anyone I've ordered from. But I'm not usually in a huge "need" for next day shipping even though I would always "like" for it to. PSA will definitely get more of my business.

Boy they sure have. I ordered an upper 2 nights ago, got UPS email this morning. I'm out of town for a week, figured would take at least that,  had to have it held at terminal, couldn't believe it.

To be fair, this was a "clearance" config, so I'm sure already built, but still, we all have had to wait two weeks or more for stuff they didn't have to do anything with but put in a box and generate the label.

Still no acknowledgement of order or shipping directly from PSA though, that seems to have gone away some time ago.

They seem to be getting better ..... If only they could get on BCM or Primary Arms level of shipping .... Every order I've placed from either of them before 3pm ships same day

It would be nice if they shipped faster...but that means more employees, which means more cost.  I believe they have struck the right balance.

Ditto super duty. If you're in a rush you're buying from the wrong place. If you can wait for a screamin' deal to come along, and then wait a few weeks to get it, PSA is your joint!

Definitely not an instant gratification shopper kinda place but i'd say i've averaged 9-10 days from time of order until I had items in my hand but the also depended on what day I ordered it. If you order on.... say a Friday, you'll likely have to wait through 2 weekends. I've never ordered anything that they had to build or ammo so I can't comment on that.

One thing to remember, their website doesn't always update in real time.  It's not uncommon to have the item in your hands while the site reports "processing". Patience, grasshopper ...

As I get older I have found with most things in life it does not pay to be in a hurry. I have found psa to be reliable and for the most part my orders have shipped in a reasonable time.

Well, I received an email Tues with a tracking link. Package got here today, only to find that they only shipped part of the order. Guess I'll be waiting more now  :snore: I'm just glad I have a few rounds stocked up.

I've waited up to 3 weeks for stuff from PSA. And I'm ready to do the same when they go nuts with the black Friday deals again this year! I'm literally saving my pennies as we speak, hahaha!
