Bolt action, Mag feed .22?

Who all makes one? Looking for one to plink with.

I know CZ has one and I believe Marlin has one also but don't know model #'s or anything about them. Anyone have some insight? Ones to look at ones to stay away from.

Marlin 22 mags with clips are:

basic: 925m

stainless: 982vs

I have owned a 22lr Marlin 925 for a long time and it has always performed flawlessly when called upon.

I'm sure I've missed a couple, but these were the ones with detachable magazines that I could find quickly.

Marlin used to make a Model 25N which was a mag feed .22lr and a 25MN which was a mag feed .22mag. i have one of each. my .22lr is one of the best shooting .22's i've ever had and it aint going anywhere! my .22mag is for sale though...

I also have a Marlin .22 magnum 925m its nice but .22lr is cheaper and I am consolidating calibers so mine is for sale also.

THe only one I have is a Romanian Training rifle. 5 round detachable mag. Some rather crude tooling marks, and doesn't cycle very smooth but it is quite accurate. It groups best with Remington's Viper loads. They can be had for $100 or less when they turn up.

I really enjoy the Savage Mark II. If I were to buy a bolt action as a companion to my 10/22 it would be a savage mark II, probably the mako... because it's sexy and I'm young enough to still think looks matter.

I had a chance to shoot a buddy's CZ bolt action mag fed .22 a couple weeks back and it was a real tack driver at 50 and 100 yards. I don't know the model number but I'm kinda wanting one for myself now.

Another question: Do all Savage Mark II's have the accu-trigger or just specific models?

I came across 2 Savage Mark II's yesterday with synthetic stock and standard barrels for $69 a piece. Also from what I can find they do not make a heavy barrel upgrade unless you buy one with a heavy barrel. So if you find a stock heavy barrel would it fit onto a standard configured receiver?

If I had found two MkII's for 69 bucks each I know of two rifles that would have come home with me.

As for the A/T I think it depends on year of manufacter. I have two wit it and one without. They are all very acceptable triggers.

i believe the heavy barrel would fit on another rifle of like model. meaning the hardware would match up. Not sure if the stock would accept the heavy barrel without some adjustment.

I used to have a 25N several years back. Dropped in a Rifle Basix trigger, sanded out the barrel channel to free-float the barrel, and ended up with a pretty good tack-driver for maybe $250 invested. It was kind of fun- at the time, I had a friend with a Sako Finnfire I'd go shoot with, and I'd consistently print groups the same size as his.

Probably going to go and pick them both up. For that price why not. One is in a little rough shape but nothing major. Slightly scratched stock is all. Just needs some TLC, tap for a scope and the end of the barrel thread. Then it will be good to go for me.
