I dropped off my 1911 on Saturday and I'm looking forward to how it turns out.

Best 1911 smith in the state.IPSC/USPSA Master class shooter as well so he knows what it takes to make a 1911 run right.

About 10 years ago I somehow got a big gouge on the feed ramp of my Para P14. Jeff worked on it for me and I swear, it was like glass when I got it back. He does awesome work.

Don't worry, you'll be pleased.

Jeff has done good bit to my carry and match guns over the years and does great work.

The 45 degree cuts on the back of my wide paddle safety for my SV is perfect for people with longer skinny fingers, I get it on all my 1911's now.

G&L is about 60 mile trip for me. Used Sam Hoster when I lived near Gallatin but now to far. Not into shipping pistols for $35 each way.

Since I couldn't convince any of my friends to come to Murfreesboro, I'm heading to Guns and Leather tomorrow to meet up and do some shooting. I've only heard good things about the store and people, definately looking foward to it.

Any other TGOers going to G&L tomorrow?

Wow... He'd been there a while. What's that all about?

I remember several years back an article in Combat Hanguns about a Walther TPH that Walle had customized for a female country singer. The amount of detail and custom work he did to that little gun was amazing.

OOOOO! What did that cost, I just bought one, and would like to have that done!

Last I heard it was around $75 for a trigger job. Funny thing is the guys i work with that know him tell me he still lives in Smyrna but he only works 4 days a week. I guess they made him an offer worthwhile.

Jeff is a really nice guy,I have only known him for about 2 months now.He put some Meprolight Night Sights on my Glock 27 40 cal. and my S&W M&P fs 40 cal. Then ,..well ya know how it is, there is allways something else you can do to a gun:) I had him put some Crimson Trace Laser Grips, on both guns also....Im sure ill get to know him better, because as long as I have guns,he will be then only man working on mine...:tough: .

For me, Jeff cut down the barrel of a pump shotgun to become a home defense weapon, fixed a Franchi for me to sell, looked at an old double barrel and offered great advice, did a trigger job on my wife's SP 101, fixed my 686, and overall, is a damn nice guy.

We in Mid TN are LUCKY to have him near.

He is the best - and NICEST - gunsmith I have ever dealt with.

PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
