I've never owned a RRA pistol, but I know they make a hellva AR.

Yeah, my RRA AR is pretty nice.

3-4K through it...zero malfunctions and very accurate.

I dont view this as a huge loss to the custom-production 1911 world.

Plenty of equal and better brands out there to fill the void.

Hmm, well when financially I was in a better position, I was planning on buying one and "customize" it to my liking.

I have only heard good things about them. For a low end 1911, they seem to be a great beginner platform that you can build upon.
