I've tried really hard to like Facebook...

I have a suspended account.  I just could not figure out how to delete it.  

 

It was some years ago, sort of used it for a few weeks.  I did not realize how invasive it can be.  The final straw for me was the repeated friend request from my step mother in law and my ignoring them resulting a phone call demanding to know why I kept ignoring the request.  Suspended it that day.

 

I will never go back.

I hate it also and I don't know why I get emails and junk from the site telling me I have messages and pokes and stuff.I never set up an account and I am thinking my daughter my have set one up for me one time when she was over here supposedly checking her emails. It all began about two days later and if I could figure out how to get out of it I would............... :rant: :rant: :rant:

I wouldn't be so quick to blame your daughter. Lots of scammers send fake emails that look like they're from Facebook, eBay, YouTube, and all the other social media sites.

I get fake Facebook emails pretty often, and I know they're fake because I don't have an account. I just delete them.

Those games are like crack. I typically unfriend the people who repeatedly send request. I hate those games.

 

You can ignore the games themselves. Once you have the main ones out of the way, a new one will pop up from time to time but it's usually not to frequent.

 

Though yes, mostly those people don't bring much to the table.
