As much as I like guns and shooting, eating would be a close second.

What are some of the best places to eat  around the state?

Murfreesboro- Kleer Vu Lunchroom  If you like good home style southern cooking, it's hard to beat this place. Huge portions and lip smacking good.

Shelbyville- Uncle Sonny's BBQ. Their baby back ribs and brisket are the best I've had outside the Memphis area.

Fayetteville- Marvin's Family Restaurant More southern cooking at an all you can eat buffet. Frog legs and catfish every day.

Well the best place to get a steak is my house. Bring your own cut and I will hook you up. I do charge a six pack of miller lite for cooking. JTM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll chime in for Chattanooga: Bea's Restaurant, Zarzour's, Nikki's, NYPD, Aretha Frankenstein's, or Biba's.
Aunt Effie's in Ringgold is great. Canyon Grill on the Dade Co end of Lookout is fantastic.

Haven't been to Family Wash. Should have mentioned Battered & Fried. Too many people know about Pharmacy already.

ETA: Pharmacy is posted no carry.

Well I have two of my best here in Pigeon Forge.  # 1 Chedders ,  the ribs and catfish are awesome....if you can get a seat with all the tourists in town.  Their prices are the best around.  #2  Is the Old Mill also in Pigeon Forge....get there for the lunch menu $10:95 from 11:00 till 4:00 will get you the FULL course meal....The best pot roast around, and rest of the menu it top shelve.  After 4:00 the price does JUMP..and last  #3  I''l throw in the Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge also.

Definitely Harper's in Scottsville.

I've heard great things about Dovies in Tomkinsville, but haven't gotten to try it yet.
