Yeah, or at the very least... just own it. You're already done for.. if you're gonna walk down to the desk like that... why be meager? Just strut down there like you own the place. Wear a smile, wave to people. Ask if it's drafty.....

Heh... Had a roommate one summer in college who locked me out of our room while I was showering 4 or 5 times. Coed dorm too. Thankfully I at least had my towel.

Edit... And speaking of open carry.... there were the times when a guy would be walking a girl down the hall and inevitably one of the black guys would exit the shower. The towel around their waist quickly moved to over their shoulder. They'd smile and give a big wave. Good times. Edited September 2, 2014 by peejman

Hotels usually have house phones on each floor, but walking down to the lobby works too. I would have a least taken the stairs, lol.
