Little League World Series!!!

Anyone been watching the little League World Series. I have made it a point to watch it last couple years. man those kids can play some great baseball and I enjoy watching them a lot more that the grown up games. Those kids play 100% with their hearts. Two game on today and it wraps up this weekend............... :up: :up:

  They are interesting to watch. I haven't watched more than about 5 minutes of it this year. I have heard the big scandal of Little League is that some players are not from the communities they play for. They are using a fake address or rented apartment to play for certain teams to have these all star line ups. I don't know but when Goodlettsville was there two years ago I was glued to the tv and I don't really care for baseball anymore.

My kid had to produce more information to play in the Little League All Star Tournament this year than if he were applying for a mortgage. 3 proofs of residence, a school report card, etc. It would take some serious doing to have an ineligible kid slip through the process.

 

I do enjoy the Little League games more than pro ball. Those kids give it all they've got.

 

My oldest son's Senior League team made it to the state playoffs last year. That's as close as we've come to the world series.

 

I did go watch my niece play in a softball world series in Gadsden Alabama several years back.
