One more would be nice.  12 seems to be the perfect # of teams in FFL.

12 is a great number but I'll keep it open to 16 up until the draft to give people a chance to join in and to have that challenge.  With a 16 team league, you get a feel for who actually knows players across the NFL and who doesn't.

I'm already a lifer as well.  So when I win I too could donate the membership or you could buy me a bottle of Jack Daniels Honey instead.

I grew up playing in a 16 team league, I love it. I play in a 10 and 12 now, I feel like there are to many good options for players. You have a hard time finding people who enjoy 16 team leagues because it takes time and studying your players.

I returned your PM with my info.

You should be getting the email from ESPN soon to activate your team.

I'm in if you need one more.

You'll make team #12.

Was a decision made about putting money in for a membership?  I like the lifetime membership idea too.

I was going to bring it up once everybody registered their team on the league message board.  I'm for it, but we would need everybody to kick in and think of a 2nd prize if the winner already has a life membership.

I am in for a lifetime membership to the winner. I have been out of pocket for the last few days due to a death, but does anyone know if you can set up draft list from the phone app. I have Hughes net at home with bad cell coverage. Haven't played ESPN in a few years so new to their league and rules. Went to recover my Espn login and 2009 was the last time I used it. Are we gonna have bench scoring( hope not). Is the draft 8pm eastern or central? JTM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

By the way, if you think ESPN is the easiest to use, you need to try yahoo's league. It is almost impossible to navigate espn. Every time I try and edit my pre-draft standings so if I get kicked out of the draft like I have been about 50 times in the last 30 minutes, I will get a few of the players I want. They are impossible. Yahoo is much simpler. JTM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't had that issue on espn, but I use the web on my android tablet to set my preferences and I do need to use the app to actually draft due to it needing flash.

Bench scoring will only be used as a tiebreaker if needed.

Draft time is listed on ESPN as 8:15pm eastern time, so if you're in central time, it will actually be at 7:15pm.

Finally got my draft list set. I may be in and out of the live draft tonight due to bad internet service. I have to stay home because I can't do a live draft without beer. Good luck to all and,"let's get ready to rumble!!!!!!!!" JTM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't forget to consider the league rules when drafting. Biggest things to be aware of are it's a PPR league, we have a lot of WR/RB/TE slots to fill (6 per lineup), and I set up negative points for missed field goals inside the thirty-nine yard line.

If you are a pro place kicker you should be able to kick a forty yard FG. Keep head coaches in mind when choosing a kicker, an aggressive head coach with a strong offense usually doesn't settle for a FG very often. JTM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will say i have never drafted a TE in the first round, lets see how it goes! It was definitely a different draft.

Considering the TE you drafted in the 1st round was Jimmy Graham, it doubt you'll have drafters remorse*.

*Barring injury of course. :D

Looks like I need to look more into this PPR thing, my RB choice as first draft might not be as good as I thought. Either way it will be interesting.

AP was a solid #1 overall pick.  You still need to slot a RB each game and Adrian Peterson is as safe a bet as they come to get you quality points any game he plays.  He'll also be even better than last year since it seems he's going to be in the passing game a bit more than in years past.

The quality of RB's falls fast once you get outside what I call the big four (AP, McCoy, Charles, Forte...yeah, I left Marshawn Lynch off, on purpose) since they are true 3-down backs.  A lot of teams are using as many as three RB's, with a different RB for each situation these days which limits their value in fantasy.
