Things are about to get a lot worse in Ferguson

They will see what they want to force an outcome. The 2nd kid (the witness) story already is not supported by the bullet wounds reported. So the kid put his hands up with his back turned and cop shot high at his arms 4x then the kid turned around and the cop decide to put 2 in the head for no reason, really?

The 3rd party story from the cops friend seems to fit bullet wounds and sound more probable. It is suspicious they did not come forward early with his side.

Can't believe in this day there are still PD's without dash cams. Did this cop not have a taser? Edited by Dad03

No time to draw a taser once little Mickey started to charge, his gun was already drawn after the struggle in the patrol unit. Also the officer had facial fractures, could account for the shot placement. Now 12 witnesses confirm the officer's version and the main witness who said it was an execution turns out to be the accomplice in the cigar heist. The evidence seems to actual support the officer. But the race batters and thugs don't let that get in their way. Edited by zgunbear

The news showed local law enforcement is telling the peaceful demonstrators to do it all day long but go home in the evening and

they'd take care of the looters/instigators who are trying to ruin their city when they come out at night.

This could be an interesting night.

Might be even worse now

Why don't you time yourself on how long it takes you to holster your sidearm, unholster a taser, aim, then fire accurately.  Now, with that time, add that a 6 ft 4 in 300lb man who intends you great bodily harm or death is bearing down on you.  Take these things into consideration before assuming that there was another course of action available to him at the time.

You have a second and a half if the assailant is 21 feet away. I have not seen anything or read anything that would i dictate the distances involved. I would think he had at the max 3 to 5 seconds to handle the threat. Plus he probably was seeing double. Unfortunately both of their lives are over. Mike brown is dead and Darren Wilson will never be safe he will always have a target on his back.

And add that the officer is already suffering from facial fractures from the last time this poor innocent child got within arms reach of him.

I agree. And anyone who thinks they would have soooo much time to do something different, we should let Spots stand 21 feet in front of them and see how long it takes them to make split second decisions before he is on them......be an eye opener, guaranteed!

theres always a lot of what ifs or I should haves when it comes to eminent confrontation.I would like to read the complete statements from all witnesses, and would want to know where everyone was and what they were doing 4 hours before and 1 hour after physical interactions and actions that were observed by non participants............FIRST.

as far as the restless go......they need to go home or demonstrate in a peaceful manner. The savage like behavior has been totally unacceptable.Someone will go to jail for domestic violence for uttering a thought, whereas that record can destroy their life. The bad protestors have done far worse and should be neutralized or dispersed, beanbags, bad music, Brown notes, etc.while were focusing on stupid hyena type behavior, other factions are infiltrating our borders like maggots on rotten flesh, matter of fact send buses to ferguson, they can defend our borders any way they want, what a nice way to divert negative energy!

I am failing to see what the hype is about? Have any of you ever followed GPS around ST LOUIS. Unfortunately somebody did something stupid and attacked a cop who not only has a duty to protect you but protect his firearm from being taken and used on you. Move on to the next story. The good thing that will come from this is that the truth will come out and the media will loock like idiots for spinning a story into a riot through incomplete reporting.

Well, to be fair, the guy was 30 feet away from him at one point. He could have drawn a taser. That being said, this department doesn't have dashcams, they may not even have tasers.

Also, I'm not saying the cop did anything wrong.

So you were there? You know exactly what the officer was capable of doing and the EXACT distance?

I tell you what, would you bet your life that you can holster a weapon and draw plus accurately fire a taser in the amount of time it takes me to run 30 feet? I wouldn't if I were you.

If I were there, i would have used the ninjy chop followed by the vulcan death grip. Then after that, follow up with a "sweep the leg Johnny". And then... the people's elbow.....

game, set, match

He's still laying in the store and I already read a post that said "He should have tased him, he's mentally handicapped and didn't deserve to die!" While I don't wish death on anyone with a disability, I don't wish for the responding officer to have his jugular removed and leave his family without a father/husband either! SMFH!

I guess they don't have tasers.
The story told from the officers side was the guy ran about 35' away after the gun went off during the struggle. Officer Wilson pursued. They stopped and started to hound the officer before he rushed back to him. So yes, if he had a taser I think there was time to pull it.

The cop did what he had to do with what he had to neutralize the threat.

Frankly I think the truth is somewhere between the 2 stories.

Yup, going to be yet another case of some criminal POS getting his well-deserved penalty while the mouthbreathers howl "ma baby diddin do nuffin" and tell stories about how he was going to go to Harvard in the fall to pursue a degree in medicine despite them having no GED and a multi-page criminal record

At the point were an attempt was made to take the officer's sidearm, a deadly threat situation against the officer had taken place.

A taser is used to gain compliance - - - not to defend an officer from dealth.

Good grief man. Why do you always go from zero to 60 so fast? Take a breath. Even the police stated the dead guy was 30 feet from the cruiser.

Again, I'm not saying he did anything wrong.
