I won't be going out past 200 yards let alone 300.  Beyond that I have no idea what you said.

oh sorry LOL  let me translate Spr special purpose rifle  its a ar 15 meant to press out to about 300 to 400 yards  normally has an actual scope normally has a 18 to 20 inch barrel, recce its a recon rifle that is built around  a 16 inch match grade barrel kinda like a spr but the recce is more lightweight and is kinda meant to max out at 300 yards   and the last one is kinda of an average ar 15 carbine

Just cut to the chase.  Buy one, any one.  It won't matter because you will buy or build more.  It's called BRD for a reason!  (black rifle disease)

No worries there.  My wallet holds the antidote for that.

1k? For that I am sure you are using high end parts, heck some of the rails can run $300 or more, barrels another $300 and so on an so on. But you can put together a bargain AR sticking to low priced but decent parts.

... I would really only make sure it had chrome lined bore and chamber. ...

Highly debatable. Non-chrome lined will tend toward more accuracy, and likely same throat/barrel life if you don't do constant mag dumps and actually clean it once in a while.

Not only that, Melonited/nitrocarburized/nitrided or whatever they want to call it, is allegedly harder and more accurate due to less distortion of the bore. Chrome adds a layer to the bore. Melonite does not.

Regardless. Even with an untreated barrel, go ahead and buy a couple more. If you can afford the ammo to shoot out a CM barrel, you can afford a few more barrels.
