Remington Primers not seating in .45 ACP Winchester Brass

Recommended Posts

Wonder if anyone else is having a problem with Remington primers not seating with Winchester .45ACP brass. I have a lee loadmaster press, and purchased some once-fired brass mixed headstamps.  I picked up a couple of hundred Remington LPP from a local dealer.  Out of a 100 shells loaded, I have about 10 without primers.  Any suggestions? or comments?

I've run into this recently with some Winchester 9mm brass....mil crimp...range pickup brass... S&B have extremely tight pockets as well.

I inspect the brass first (once I figured out the issue) and do a light ream with a handtool I keep on the bench and they work great after a couple of turns. PIA though isn't it?
