National Bullpup Convention Sept 27, 28

This isn't in TN but an easy drive for us volunteers. It is in Park City, KY. I've gone the last 2 years and have gotten to see and shoot some really cool stuff. If you have ever wanted to see what a bullpup is all about, you should plan on going.

I'm bumping this as it is getting closer. There will be full auto's, a 1000 yard range and factory demos.

My buddy thinks it's my stubbornness kicking in to put off surgery till Monday so I can go to the Bullpup Shoot but I think it is completely rational.

Ran up today - small crowd but very cool. I got to shoot the soon to be released KelTec RDB bullpup rifle - very nice gun!

The IWI team gave everyone a free run in a full auto Tavor, and Joe from Red Jacket was there showing off their kel tec KSG supressor and some full auto ruger 10/22 bullpups. If you had ammo you could shoot it!

Also the US Corrections swat team was there showing off their K9 team.


Here I am enjoying my first full auto experience. I wound up shooting my first round as a single as I was cautious in not wanting to let it rip, and then stopped for a second after the second burst due to tavor getting gases in my eye. I promptly bought the plate from gearworks for my own Tavor.

Had a great time yesterday. Got time on the X95 and Red Jackets full path 10/22 bullpup. But the highlight was shooting the 338 Laupa at 1,000 yards and ringing steel on the first shoot.

Will try to get a few of the pics I took up later this week but will be a few days since having surgery tomorrow.

Did anyone see the 300 blk Tavor or the "integral" 9mm suppressed Tavor?

The 300blk Tavor was there and we did do a shooting demo of it. Just didn't let everyone shoot it. Hank Strange uploaded a video of it shooting today on YouTube. I can't link it at work.

I saw that. It excites me. Especially in combo with the integral can setup.
