A friend of mine is going to inherit a Browning 30-06 that was bought in 1972. It is a semi-automatic and has a Redfield 3-9 power scope. Does anyone know about what one of these would appraise for. I know additonal information may be needed but a guesstamite would be appreciated.

Here is what bluebook says:

100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60%

$695 $575 $500 $450 $400 $350 $300

Add 20% if it says made in Belgium

I would also check gunbroker for real world values.
