Regarding the new look and feel of TGO, it seems that some people see the forum's colors as either shades of blue or gray rather than the earth tones that they were supposed to be.

Clearly it's a matter of monitor and video card combination as I've been able to see each of these scenarios manifest on different machines that I have at home and work.

I'm just curious about who is seeing what. Please vote in the poll and maybe reply to the thread and state what monitor / graphic card combo you are using. :D

Thanks.

I am seeing earth tones on a Dell 2407WP monitor and a Radeon X600 video card at work. I also see earth tones on my MacBook Pro.

Depends on which bars you're referring to. Depending on which, I see all of the options above. Toss up a screen shot pointing out the area you have in question. Might help others too.

While I'm holding my vote until further clarification, I'm mostly seeing the FDE tones in use. Although I do still see the blue and gray areas on the screen such as the the quick reply box at the bottom and profile area to the left of every post. There's also still the light blue accents on the buttons still.

Why not load up a couple of different "skin" packs and let the user decide?

BTW: I'm seeing a earth tones with blue accents.

Earth tones, some blue fonts. I have no idea what video card I'm running. Whatever would come in a 2 year old Toshiba notebook with an Intel Centrino processor.

Earth Tones...

I'm viewing on a calibrated Apple Cinema 20" Monitor.

(We keep them calibrated so we can load different

SWOP print simulations.)

Also views as Earth Tones on my old iMac (not calibrated) at home as well.

Viewing both with "Camino" web browser, which is based off Mozilla.

I looked at the pic in your ammended first post.....I see earth tones everywhere I'm supposed to except the area where the poll choices are that you point to....that part is white for me.

I was on old laptop, dialup, last few days out of town.

I saw the original blue motif; I assumed you had just reverted back.

This was with Windows 98 and old IBM laptop. I'd have to look again to see what video board is built into that.

Back home on Win XP, nVidia card, it's the brown motif.

EDIT: the old laptop (IBM) uses NeoMagic Magic Graph onboard video adaptor.
