Hoverboard - I so want to ride one of these...

I like to wakeboard, wakesurf, waterski, kneeboard, etc. so for me this thing is so cool.   It does require a JetSki for the propulsion source.  I'll never buy one but I'd pay a pretty penny to get a chance to ride one for about an hour.

That looks really cool. I bet it is not for novice non surfing riders. I see way too much liability for rentals.


Imagine getting slammed head first into a coral reef. That's why they don't rent them in the US. Those videos look to be filmed in the Caribbean. Edited by peejman

While I'm sure there is a learning curve I'm not sure it would have anymore risk than the cable wakeboarding rental parks in FL.   I still see more danger in wakeboarding.   You catch an edge wrong and you're doing an immediate 90 degree face-plant while being towed by a boat around 20-25 mph.    It'll ring your bell so hard you'll have a headache for the rest of the day.
