I would gladly give up 1/3 of $500,000.00 from 1 company and 1/3 of $250,000.00 from the other if I can find a good enough attorney.

The last attorney involved insurance claim I had drug on for over a year and didn't get me any more than without them. I have found that with insurance companies being persistent will get you where you want to be. I would suggest my brother but he living in Atlanta and being a personal injury lawyer, I doubt he could do much. Do some digging around, there is sure to be some Lawyer that can help you.

+1 for Dane unless it is a massive case I wouldn't mess with losing that much $$$ over something small.  Went through this 2 years ago when someone rear-ended me, tried to get a lawyer to handle it, some stuff fell through the cracks and ended up with me handling it by accident.  Had one of my wife's friends review the offer and they said it was as good as they would've tried to get, so that means I gained 30% just by making a few phone calls and sending a couple of emails back and forth.
