Dunbar Cave

Part of the parks law, was the state didn't have to replace signs, they're supposed to change them as part of routine maintenance...  With the way the state works, that will probably be 10-20 more years.

Unless a politician can see a profit in it for them and then it will get done over night or possibly the same day............jmho

I'm not making light of the situation, but sitting in your car for a couple of hours at that time of morning sounds odd to me. However, no more odd than a 6'3" black male weighing 250# happening by to bum a light and then raping someone. Seems like an odd scenario to me. Edited by BigK

How do you park in there in the middle of the night? The gates automatically shut at dark. Plus, story sounds fishy. Things don't add up. I know that it is politically incorrect to ever doubt a rape allegation, but I don't let society pressure override common sense. There is a lot more to the story.

Yea, I had thrown the BS flag on this from the get go.  The Dunbar Cave parking lot is closed after dark with a vehicle barrier at each entrance.  The parking lot at the golf course is open but that and the one at Swan Lake sports complex is patrolled regularly.  I once parked at the complex and hiked toward dunbar cave, came back a few minutes after closing and found a ticket on the windshield so they are pretty quick.
