Mountaineer Classic IDPA this weekend?

Any other TGOers gonna be shooting the Mountaineer Classic IDPA match in Boone NC this weekend?

I've shot that match in the past,be cautious of the very short berms.

Well the slide stop problem was permanently remedied by switching it out to the standard one...

 

Unfortunately 3 mistakes on 3 different stages (a procedural, an extra reload due to a miss and a missed metal target causing a miss on a mover) cost me 3 places....so a 2nd place turned into a 5th.....  such is life. I learn some new valuable lesson at each match...just wish they were less painful..... :wall:

 

On the bright side....If I had been shooting Expert ESP (which is what I'm classified as in ESP and use the same gun in bothESP and SSP ) I'd have won that class.....hey, I have to look for the ray of sunshine where I can find it.....Unfortunately I signed up for every match this year in MA SSP so I either sink or swim in the deepest end of the pool......
