I used a dremel with a sanding wheel and ground the ones on mine out.

Neat idea, but dang $82.99! Be different if you were going to use it often. But then again, right tool for the right job. Most common way I've heard people say they did it was drilling it out. I just bought my shotgun with factory ext magazine so didn't have the issue.

Yeah, I agree, expensive. I can see where it would be useful if you were going to be doing a lot, like as an armorer or smith.

I have many sockets, and I couldn't find one that fit.... i just drilled mine out, buffed it up some with a dremel, then blued the metal I had exposed. Works great.

Going to make a few loaner tools to address this problem after summer.  The mandrel alone like Brownells sells will often cause the outside diameter of the magazine tube to be slightly oval after use.

So just drill the dang thing out then? Seemed like a crude solution to me...

but works great.. the holes don't have any negative effect.  I blued the metal after just to prevent rust.

I did the same. Took longer to find up the dremel and grinding stone than it did to knock them off.
