Recommendations on two New 9MM's

I also believe that they should only be 5" government models the way JMB designed them over 100 years ago. I say that and I am a 10mm believer. I just don't think the 10mm belongs in a 1911. I am biased and not the world's biggest 1911 fan.

If JMB were with us...don't you think he would be wondering why we are still dicking around with a 100 year old design?  He would have moved to polymer by now...hell, he may have a polymer BARREL by now.  Sorry for derail!

Atlas, I think you are correct. I just think that when you veer from the 5" 45acp 1911 you have a greater chance of it not working than working; I speak from experience.

I haven't shot many small pistols other than Glock enough to make an opinion on them.

But I XDm for the plinker is you got STOCK.

If you are willing to upgrade the trigger I'd go M&P all day. It's a simpler design and not as bulky.
