I'm the maker, it was a custom ordered piece and is already with it's new owner. I take custom orders but be warned I work at a slow speed on customs lol. That folder took me about two months mostly due to buffer throwing it and destroying the first handle I put on it.

Did you forge out the damascus for the blade? And with that are the blades forged or ground out? Very nice work

The blade was damasteel a Swedish damascus. i dont forge yet, i ordered the damascus bar and used stock removal from there. i grind and profile on a Bader B3, and all handle and bolster work is done by hand with files. I also have to etch the steel in acid to reveal the pattern, then hand sand and buff, re-etch and repeat.

It was actually just a prototype for a blade my brother wanted me to make him which had more filework and a small horn shaped pommel in the tang avu5agen.jpgu7y6e7a7.jpge7apupa7.jpgda5etenu.jpgdeva7a4e.jpg
