Always wanted to put a vertical foregrip on it but not legal without $ and permit but I was wondering if the Stark SE 5 Angled foregrip is legal, I know that many types of similar ones are legal, but this one has me worried, the Company said it is legal just like the Arm Brace on a pistol, but I wonder about the grip!

the vertical grip is only illegal if the oal is under 26".the resident experts will be along shortly to give you the specifics.

That one is interesting. It's angled but it appears it can be gripped with a fist similar to a vertical grip. I am interested to hear others opinions

I myself wouldn't be too comfy with that one sans a specific approval letter regarding use on < 26" pistol.  The angle is one thing, but it's also more of a standard grip shape than the Magpul AFG genre.

I also was thinking the same, I E-Mailed the Maker several times to no avail, but the Comp. that sells them sent me a E-Mail that they are Legal!

But till a see a letter from the BATF I wont be sure and I don't want to join "Club Fed"

I could contact the BATF or stop by their Office in Eastgate, but I don't want to get on any "Watch Lists"!

This grip is the only angled one that fits my small hand perfect and is the best thing to ever happen to my Pistol since it has no handguards of any type Edited July 30, 2014 by Messer

The 26" pistol/VFG is a recent niche ruling, in 2011. No overall definitions changed, just a narrow exception to AOW classification.

Yeah, I'd be fine with that -- can't imagine why Stark doesn't feature that prominently with the product, duh.
