Bought it 15 yrs ago and had not shot it in 10 yrs and dug it out from my Y2K Supplies to clean it and I noticed the stock somehow on left side had developed a Dime size protrusion outwards and it just looks bad!

There is nothing in that area inside that could have caused this which is exactly dime size and width and it looks weird and ugly, so has anyone ever heard of something like this?

Wonder if there is any way to smoothen it out besides sanding?

Thank's

I really don't see how it could have happened since it was enclosed in a carry case and it only happ on 1 spot but looks bad!

Seems like something was pushing it from inside of the hollow stock which stores the gun and parts, but there is nothing in that area (side) just really weird.

Thinking about eventually taking a Clothes Iron set on Medium and using a damp cloth and try to smoothen it out, sanding would most likely weaken the stock.

I know one can raise dents on wooden stocks with a Iron and damp cloth!
