Nightforce NXS

I am considering replacing my Aimpoint T-1 with a Nightforce NXS on my Noveske N4.  I have heard conflicting reports on a mulititude of different sites and would like to hear from anyone currently running one on their AR platform rifle.

Not on an AR but we use one on a long range bolt rifle. They track awesome.

I have a Nightforce NXS 1-4x24 compact with the FCC-3G reticle. I wanted a true 1X which the scope is. At first I was hung on a daylight illuminated reticle since most of my experience has been with red dot sights etc. I'm glad I dropped that requirement. The scope is excellent. Now I want a 2-10x32. Their customer support was very helpful in my decision to purchase the 1x4.

Thanks for the info guys, I've been quoted about 1K for the NXS from a friend (used).  Any ideas on a fair market price?  From what I am seeing out there 1k seems fairly reasonable.

I think fair market really depends on which Optic it is,reticle etc... Im seeing them new anywhere from $1100 to $1400ish depending on the model and Im not going to pretend to know the differences in the NXS line. However if the scope you are looking at is one of the models Im seeing new for $1100 then I doubt you could buy it for $1000 and resell it without taking a hit. However if its one of the models that seem to be running $1200-1300 I would say you're getting a fair deal. It appears the ones brand new going for $1100 all have the FC-2 reticle while the FC-3's appear to be going for around $1300.
