Huge +1 to Leatherman customer service

I broke the punch off of my Leatherman MUT last week so I sent it in for repair. They received it yesterday, fixed it, and are sending it back to me TODAY. Unbelievable.

For comparison, I sent my M&P Shield in for service and waited over a month to get it back.

If you're deciding between a Leatherman and another brand and you value solid customer service, I can not recommend Leatherman strongly enough.

Dad was given an old leatherman with broken pliers.  It belonged to his brother-in-law who passed away several years ago.  He sent it back for repair and they sent him a new one since they don't make that model anymore.

I've always had great response from Leatherman's customer service, they are fast, friendly and they understand that WE as users make their paychecks. Cold Steel on the other hand................................

I couldn't get them to replace a defective file on my Surge.  Not broken, but bad out of the package.  Guess it depends on who you talk to, but it shouldn't.

Break it and try again.
