at Cool Springs maybe only 2 boxes is all, they are pushed way in the back of the shelf.

I picked up 400 rounds which was plenty at the time, I'm going to check back and probably pickup some more in a few days...

Just got back from Cool Springs. Got 3 cases. There's still two more under the center aisle table. It's in a stack next to the 556 and 223, on the other side of the table from the ammo.

And there's quite a few loose boxes on the gun counter.

They must have just got that in, because we bought everything they had except for a few loose boxes. This is a good sign that they have a quite a bit to sell. This is a smoke 'em while you got 'em opportunity. I don't think this will be available again. Especially if Oblowma gets elected.

I plan on getting at least 3 more cases this month and some more next month.

But, as tempted as i was to buy all 5 cases they had today, I left 2, just for you guys. Love me!

Probably the last time 7.62 will be $3. Look at it as an investment.

i wonder if ammo prices (dealer prices) have gone down and perhaps other places will follow suit (i noticed some places have wolf 7.62 down also)

i called Academy's corporate office. the cute sounding customer rep said ALL the Monarch was scheduled to be on sale. i asked about .223, and she said it should be on sale, too. I scanned every box of Monarch in that place. Only thing on sale right now is 7.62. I wish they would put the other calibers on sale so the 7.62 wouldn't go so fast. I'm sure the guys with both would be buying more .223 than 7.62 if it was all on sale.

Let me re-phrase my question. I live in Knoxville. Where are the closest places (plural) to go for this Academy place?
