Joe you could port your blackberries over to AT&T so you could keep 1 bill with multiple lines. Blackberrys server is the same on all carriers to my knowledge as far as the email goes. Although the phone service it self is from different providers blackberry has the on web acces that all companies use on their products alone. Atleast thats how it was explained to me.

The problem is the radio in the phone itself. AT&T is a GSM network. Verizon is a CDMA network. Unless his Verizon Blackberry is one of the "World Phone" models, he won't be able to use it on the AT&T network.

I have had at least one of all ofem.SunCom,Cricket,AT&T,Nextel to name a couple. The Verizon is hands down the best in coverage, and customer service.

I have only had my Verizon not pick up a signal once in the 5(?) or so years I have had it,and ironically enough I was out in the sticks on my bike, and wrecked.Yep laying on the side of the street half dead and no signal!:D

Which would you dretter have

We've had ATT for four years. I dropped them yesterday. My service has been spotty for the last couple of years and when it came time to open a new contract with them, they were not welling to deal for an old customer. I wanted four new phones which I was welling to pay for, but I wanted them to eat the activation charge for each phone. They refused, but kept pointing out that I got roll over minutes. We carried 700 minute share plan per month over the last four years and we had yet to ever go over those minutes. Roll over minutes weren't a big deal to me. The $20+ activation fee per phone was.

So as of yesterday we are a new Sprint Customer with four new phones. The cost was the same per month for 1500 minutes instead of 700 minutes, with nights, weekends and texting. We got three LG Rumors and a Samsung M300 for $54 and the activation was free. We are happy. I hope AT&T is. So long!
