Another Malaya plane went down. Over Ukraine tho. Shot down or terrorist act? Who knows.

I don't see where we really need to do anything about it. We did not shoot it down, it did not land and scatter bodies all over American soil, No one is blaming us for it being shot down. If you want to blame someone lets blame the stupid airlines cause they lost a plane that was never found and then they send a flight right across the air space of countries at war that has had several aircraft shot down in last couple days including 2 yesterday and the airlines does not divert it to a safer route around the area in question. Now that is STUPID!! Now, with that said no one is claiming they did it so there is a chance it could have been a bomb on the aircraft that blew it apart in flight. I think they will eventually find out but like I said. We don't need to do anything except keep our noses out of it and let Russia tell the world what happened since they are the ones supplying these so called missiles used in the first place and they have already offered to help....................jmho

They have also shot down other planes as well, military ones tho. But why a passenger one. That makes no sense at all.

Their radar probably does not specify the type of aircraft but just an aircraft at 33, 000 feet so shoot it down and we will see what it is plus they probably were not in communications with the aircraft because they most likely would not be monitoring civilian radio transmissions and when they tried to talk to the air craft and they did not respond it must be the enemy. One of those Shoot first and ask questions later deals!!!!!!  But that also depends on if it was actually shot down or blown up in the air with a  bomb on the plane.............jmho

Any 'mericuns on board changes that. Seems to be most likely done by a Ukraine Separatist group, which I haven't even understood exactly, since they're pro-Russian, so dunno why they're even called "separatist", seems like to be that they'd be allied with Ukrainian gov or nobody at all.

 

Anyway, seems was likely a Buk missile, one of the items BHOs pen just "banned". Like, who in US does that effect? Our military doesn't use them and I wasn't likely to be able to get hold of one either. :)

The other option is to invade. And that would be ****ing stupid. Honestly, I dont think the president can do much of anything. Since it has done nothing to warrant the US to involve itself. Same thing for Israel. Looks like a good week world wide.

Hell, we shot one down too. And while Reagan excoriated the Russians for having done same earlier, both the US commander and the ordinance chief later got commendations for their service during that time in Strait of Hormuz.

 

Bad stuff happens in war zones. Other airlines were avoiding that area.

 

Guess point is, assuming anyone takes responsibility for it, and says "oops", what's anyone to do really? And that seems to be the case, if the audio that has surfaced is to be believed, even though the Separatists haven't admitted they did it.

 

Maybe the US compensated the families on the Irani airliner, dunno. But that was voluntary if they did. Far as I know, we didn't even get any UN bad dog resolution or anything for it.

Yep, We are not totally innocent of doing the same thing. We shot down an Civilian Iranian Airliner back years ago and they used the excuse they thought it was an Iranian Fighter Jet. Now I would think that our military and Russia's Military and most all major militarizes should by now be able to tell a Civilian aircraft from a military aircraft but evidently not yet for some. But with that said, you would think that Airline Companies should learn by now since this is about the 3rd or 4th time  this has happened that when a country is at war whether it be a civil war or a war between two countries wouldn't it make more sense to alter your routes to avoid the war zones and chancing being shot down????? ..............................jmho
