Bottom line up front: out of a half decent rifle, the 154gr wolf SP should drop a deer or a hog just fine. I wouldn't try it much over 100 yards though. It all shot pretty good and its consistent on the chrono.

All ammo is probably 2007 or better but thats a guess. All shooting was done from a 16.25" armalite, 1 in 10 twist. I shot about 100 each of the 3. At about 250 rounds, I had to take out the bcg and lube it...started getting some light primer strikes. Might have got some crud in the firing pin hole, I don't know.

All I had to measure accuracy was iron sights and my hawkish eye, lol. All 3 rounds hit pretty close to the same POI, not much adjustment was needed. Which I thought was odd.

I tended to shoot about 1"-1.5" 5 shot groups at 50 yards, and I was covering about 4-5" at 100. I noticed the wolf (both weights) tended to occasionally throw a flyer in a random direction but that could have been me. I need to shoot it a few more times before I decide what the culprit is...or stick some glass on that upper. I don't have that problem with the tiger.

I had no problem hitting an 18" square steel plate at 300 yards with any of it off the bench, but i had to crank in the 500 yard setting on some 6/3 carbine sights for the 154 grainers. I crank it to 400 on the 125gr stuff, FWIW. Thats with a 50 yard zero...so it drops pretty quick. Occasionally one of the hp's would catch on the ramp.

Question is,does it still smell like rotten eggs?

A little. I'll say this, its little cleaner and doesn't smell as bad as it used to. Bout like 15 year old herco in a .45

Based on the chrono alone, from what I've seen, wolf has steadily improved its ammo line across the board. Up to a couple of years ago I bought a few boxes to test here and there and threw some of it away...it was pretty scary. Lately though, even if its a bit underloaded in most calibers...it runs consistent.

I'd like to retest some .223, but, i'm not interested enough to actually order some.
