Is there lawyer insurance for criminal charges?

I'm thinking along the lines of you have to shoot someone but for whatever reason the law thinks you did something wrong.  For people who carry, is there some type of insurance you can buy to cover your legal expenses if needed?

You have to read the fine print. Some exclude "intentional acts" and other stuff. If you're relying on that to come to your aid in an SD event, know the fine print.

I agree that this is your best bet.  Problem I see with a pre paid legal agreement is your case getting handed to some rookie, made it through law school with a D average flunkie.  I'd rather hand choose an attorney with a proven record.
