Is anyone familiar with these

 

I don't know much about it except that it is a 12 gauge, o/u.  It is in excellent condition, and has the ornate engraved silver (tone) plates.  Also, it says Simmons Specialty.  Remarkable craftsmanship

 

I know/think it is/was made in Spain and they did more side by sides than o/u.  It is out in my store but I've never tagged it for sale because I really don't know what to ask for it and can't find it in any gun value book

If I remember rightly one of my buddies who shoots BP and smokeless skeet and has a wonderful collection of old world and new shotguns once told me to stay away from the Spanish made guns because some might have metallurgy problems. I can't remember why anymore but it was a definite "stay clear" since there are many other well made guns well within the price range of those. I'd keep an eye on other guns sales on the net and see what you can figure out for a selling price...
