Awesome photo from today

So here lately I've been videoing some of my shooting with my phone, and using screen shots to try and catch neat stuff, this is the best I've done. I ALMOST caught the flame! Also caught the slide all the way back



Here's another decent one done the same way, caught a piece of brass mid flight



All done with my iPhone 5c.
I will say, if you've never recorded yourself shooting, it's a learning experience. Even though I hate being in front of a camera, it's really helped me correct small things that I normally can't see because 75% of the time I shoot alone

These are some good pics. I wish I had the money for a high speed camera. Catching things on photo that the human eye can't has always been interesting to me.

Do you guys routinely shoot with the chest rigs and gear?

not routinely, no.  but so far twice this year we've gone out to a friend's farm and worked on some tactical maneuvers; shooting on the move, hammer pairs, elevated heart rate shooting, full load out, etc.

 

i'm not mil or leo, just trying to mix things up and add tools to the toolbox.

Good deal. I was just curious. I try to avoid even owning all the gear, let alone ever suiting up and going to the range, because I dont want to further that mall ninja steroetype of some idiot in gear (I'm a big ole boy, and not the kind of guy you would ever see hustling around in tac gear) But I have been looking at a chest rig mag carrier as my buddy and me are planning on doing a shoot on the move type of course on the farm.
