Police trailer

After getting gas yesterday, I noticed a new addition to the police force. It looked like a horse trailer. But full of lights. Is this supposed to be a mini command center? It was parked with a bunch of other cruisers down 31 in Spring Hill. I have seen the massive state trooper mobile command center up close before it was delivered, but this "horse" trailer has me intrigued. Anyone know what it is supposed to be for?

Probably what you said, mobile command center. We only need a small one here in Spring Hill. Nothing too big goes on around here.

Could it be for real horses?  Some PD have horses, but mainly in large cities.  Or was this a cheezy command center?

Thats pretty much dead on. But in all my years in spring hill, I have never seen mounted police.

This is what it usta be, mid 70's.  It was used as a command post for raids, blowing up stills and major DWI campaigns.  Still in the bubble gum machine days, one of the first strobe light bars is the car to the extreme right.

Just trying to make sure they meet their quota of spending their entire budget so it does not get cut next year and was probably the only excuse they could come up with in a hurry of something they didn't already have................jmho

Sometimes they use them to book and release people when the jails are loaded and booking is swamped or some little turd sends a bag of flour to a teacher at school in a plain envelope.... Basically a donut and coffee protection center.
