Ok, so some dude buys a sign for $800 and wants to trade it for a gun.

Ok, so I'm good with that and won't mention 800 BUCKS again.... ROFLMAO!

What I'm really wondering is how many people can actually read that sign at 100 meters?

This sure seems like a case of our High Command at work again! It makes me wonder if that sign went all the way up to our Commander in Chief for approval!

Rhetorical questions: Who pays $800 for a sign? Who pays $800 for a sign and sells it for $600? Would anyone really want that sign bad enough to give up a quality semi auto pistol?

I got a piece of 8'x4' scrap plywood, some white and brown outdoor paint and painters tape to make pretty letters. Mine will be readable at 100 meters at least. Might have to leave off the Arabic though.

There should be another sign to go with the one on Armslist to hang below it. It should read, "If you can read this you have already been shot"

With proper documentation that it was used, and where and by whom it might be worth $800 to someone...without that documentation it's about $10 worth of metal and paint and maybe a few dollars for the work of making it into a sign. ;)

I have a cousin who is a Marine. He brought back one of the giant pictures of Saddam that were posted everywhere. It would cover a whole wall. I thought it was a nice souvenir.

Its just a cheap convoy sign.  Thousands upon thousands were put on the back of military vehicles all over Iraq and Afghanistan and many were locally procured so there is a lot of variation in them. It might be worth a little bit for someone, mainly because people collect stupid stuff.  Really though i couldn't see spending 50 on one much less over 500.

I still need to hang this up in the garage... it's an actual cool sign, but probably not worth $800 lol

No; a slightly less than 2 year old Basset Hound (a rescue)!

Funny you should ask thought...many years ago I had an English Springer Spaniel; I lived in Washington at the time (stationed at the Trident submarine base in Bangor, WA.)
