The new America movie

Ugly

Recommended Posts

Just left the theater, haven't been in about 6 years but I needed some motivation, this movie is a fantastic recap of our history with some world history involved. It is a great film that spells out how we got to where we are today. Personally I don't think it went far enough with the fallout of the radical plan that's in play except for the visit to Detroit.

I learned a few things and I imagine any younger folks that went to public school will learn a lot.

The supporters are better off watching the movie or reading the book. Dinesh tells how alinsky perfected the method of getting someone on their side, use them, then dispose of them after word.

It's an outstanding book. Gonna go see the movie this week.  I've never been in a Costco and I live 15 miles from one. If this is true, I'll never see the inside of one. Oh well, I'm 61 and got by fine this long without one.  If they are so anti freedom, they can KORA.!!

The goal for the businesses that support the fundraiser in trespass is to have cheaper labor (part time) and not have to pay for medical coverage (commiecare). They think they'll make a mint

Costco said they pulled the book because it wasn't on the Times best sellers list. Don't know it that is true but there is another book that is not selling very well, "Hard Choices" by Hillary Rodham Clinton. If they pulled her book also, I wouldn't too much out of pulling  D'Souza's book. i tried to check this out on Costco's web site, but it is down.

Hard Choices was stacked deep at West Nashville Costco last week. It spent 2 weeks at #1 and last week fell to #2 on the NYT best sellers list of combined print and e-media for non fiction. Besides their politics wanting  it to do well, it would make no sense to pull that book if Costco really does use lists like the NYT BSL to decide what to carry.

America is a top seller on Amazon, but the NYT's liberal politics have kept it off their BSL so far. The NYT says it will be on the list next week.

It makes sense for Costco to only keep top selling books in stock. It's a huge store, but they only allocate so much space for books. That said, their own internal sales numbers should have been showing them that the book was selling well even w/o an NYT listing. We'll never know, but I'd love to see what their internal sales figures were showing prior to it being pulled. It's possible that it wasn't doing very well in Costco.
