Got pulled over several months ago

it was for speeding in a school zone but I honestly did not know that at the time as I am still fairly new here to Tn, of course the question of insurance came and it had been lapsed for a short time dumb part on my part, so now it has reflected on my drivers license being pulled till I can correct the issue.  But does that have any impact on my carry permit, I wouldn't think so but not sure.

thanks

Your carry permit has nothing to do with your suspended license situation...The only driving offense that would impact your carry permit would be a DUI...

The traffic offense itself yes, but driving offenses can certainly catch you a bench warrant should you not pay the fine or appear in court if required. Which seems to me could easily make you a fugitive from justice. . .

OP- should be fine assuming he showed up to court/paid the fine/went to traffic school/ect.

The loss of driving privileges doesn't affect HCP. Get with TDOS and take your insurance, if you have it now, and get your license reinstated. Tennessee automatically suspends your DL if you are guilty of no insuance and they changed the law a few years ago to state if must have been valid on the day of infraction to keep people from getting insurance for like 30 days and canceling it.
