Free Dog - White House/Nashville

If you don't like cats, this is your dog. A friend saved this dog from going to the pound, but she needs a more suitable home. The dog has been wonderful around my friends toddler and other dog, but is not a fan of cats. Here's what she had to say about the dog: This is Daisy. She was found hanging around my daughter's preschool for several weeks. She was at risk for being picked up by animal control so I brought her home a few months ago. After taking her to the vet we were told she is approximately 4 years old, 66lbs, already spayed, heart worm negative, but had tested positive for a tick-borne illness called ehrlichia. She was given treatment with antibiotics. We weren't sure about keeping another dog since we already had one plus a cat. We gave it a try but soon realized she was very interested in our cat. It got to a point that she couldn't be inside with the cat unless she was in her crate. I emailed a local organization to help find a new home for her but never heard back. Unfortunately our story has a tragic ending as early Sunday morning Daisy broke loose in transition from her crate to outside and attacked our beloved cat, killing her. It has been extremely traumatic for me dealing with this loss and I need your help in finding a new home for Daisy. I don't believe she should be put down over this as she is an extremely sweet and loving dog...she just doesn't need to be around cats.

 Sorry to hear about the cat......... :ugh: Her and my Kasey have 1 thing n common anyway. Kasey does not like cats either and chases them every time she finds one in her yard but she is to old now to catch them but she still tries but only for short jaunts before quitting the pursuit.......... :rofl:
