Hmm, i have been thinking of building a 308.  For $288, it may be worth a cheap build.  I was thinking of the CMT, but at twice the cost for what I will do, I am not sure it would be worth it.  I see they have a barrel too.  Is the quality pretty good on these?

I've never personally owned anything made by AERO but for what I've read they made lowers for other companies such as Spikes and PSA before putting their own name on them and selling direct. I've seen good reviews written and video on them. If I wasn't in the middle of two builds now I would definitely order this. But figured someone on here could.

FWIW, it was as good as a 7.5" barrel could be, I'm not sure who makes them though. If you're talking about their receiver sets, they're as good as it gets Edited June 28, 2014 by KKing

That's a hell of a deal. Have been looking at the Mega set but this is almost half the price.

Well, they sucked me right in. Headed my way along with one of their 16" barrels via a short stay in Oak Ridge for a shortening of the barrel and engraving on the receiver. Then we will see just how quick the revamped e-file system is.

 

That should pretty much round out the carbine craze for my house although a MPX in .357 sig is really  calling my name.
