MTM Case-Gard Tactical Magazine Can

I had to fly some this week, and took a couple of reading magazines along.  Gun related of course.  I think I read every article, and every advertisement.  Maybe I have been under a rock for awhile, but speaking of advertisement, what do you think of these @ ~$22 each.  Are these a genius idea?  Or are these just another needless accessory?  I currently keep about 10 mags loaded, and are in a cheap $2 walmart type milk crate inside the safe, but the safe is at or beyond maximum capacity.

P.S. I wish we saw more of gear and accessories review from others, ammo reviews, and more gun reviews!  Those are some of the main reasons I started viewing this site several years ago!

It's bigger than an SAW can.  I bet you could get close to 30 mags in it without the foam.

Years ago I use to be a packaging engineer, I would assume the spacing keeps a no contact packaging, good for those metal mags, otherwise I dont care.

They probably thought it would be easier to get a grip on a magazine.

I just use 30 caliber ammo cans and stack em in there.
