follow up on friends grandsons suicide info.

Apparent suicide was what the Louisville Police called it but it was what
most folks that know the young man as a rush decision and the family has requested an investigation before it is decided that quick. He was just down here from college for Fathers day and was in great spirits. He had just finished his college minor which was a beginning of a career in Forensic Medicine and had just signed up for his second course study on it as his major. He wanted to be a CSI. His parents and another couple were going out of town for a week and the friends ask him if he would mind dog sitting their 3 dogs while they were gone and he jumped at it and said no problem. They left out of town on Saturday and he was found on Wednesday of last week in the home of the friends in Louisville. His parents became concerned when they could not contact him on Wednesday after talking with him on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. He spoke everyday to either his dad or mom and when they could not get in touch with him by 9PM they the friends called a neighbor and ask them to go and check on him because his truck was in the drive way. They didn't hear back from the neighbor but shortly got a call from the Louisville police advising them that they might need to come home. They were told by the Lt. working the case what they had found but they would not let them see him. The LT said there was to much carnage/damage to his appearance. I have spoke with Ken about it again and he has said everyone is still in shock over it as they cannot find not 1 issue that would point to it being a suicide by anyone that knew him.  They have checked all of his computers and I pads for any kind of issues he may have been having with peer pressure or a suicide note or letter and there is nothing. Everything points to his looking forward to his future. Just does not make sense but then in every other one I have heard about they could find a reason and in this case they found zero reasons or any evidence that could cause him to do this....................jmho

Was not my grandson but a close friends but yea the story is messed up for sure. The family has requested a full and complete investigation since the rush to claim suicide was made in less then 15 minutes of finding him by police. There is much more evidence to demand an investigation then there is to just declare it a suicide in 15 minutes.

Glad they are demanding further investigation. If it was something else, someone is out there running around with this on their hands. Sad story!

Ok, update on this from my buddy, the boys grandfather. The Louisville Police Chief and the Top Cop Police Commissioner have both decided that there does need to be an extensive investigation with every possible rock over turned to  either confirm a suicide or a homicide before the case is to be closed. They both said that they have received a flood of letters, emails and phone calls requesting a full investigation, all from people that knew the young man both relatives and many many friends saying that none of them believe he took his own life as he had to much to live for and nothing negative was going on in his life. So a top team of detectives have been assigned to the case by the Top Cops office. I guess we will get the truth evidently one way or the other. I will keep ya'll updated as I learn more........... :up: He was laid to rest on Thursday. Folk home where it happened is still a crime scene and the only thing the people have been allowed to do is get enough personal belongings to live with and get their 3 dogs he was sitting for and the house is still completely wrapped in yellow ribbon.

Geez, Glad they are gonna investigate fully! Is there really a "Top Cop" shop? Hope for the best here!
