JFK: The smoking gun

Has anyone else watched this documentary?  If not, it's definitely worth a watch.  If you have Netflix you can find it on there.

Someone told me about it, and to me it's the most plausible explanation of what happened that I have heard to date.  Everyone I've asked that has seen it came to the same conclusion as me.

If you've watched it I'd like to hear your opinion.

Watched it a week or so back. Certainly plausible. I'm still not convinced there was anymore to it than reported though.

Best alternate theory I've heard though, much better than the CIA assassination theory or any of the other crap.

The best I've seen is the special the discovery channel sponsored a few years ago called JFK: Beyond the Magic Bullet.

It was a pretty cool setup from a shooter's perspective and the threaded the needle on the magic bullet.

I'd definitely recommend it.

I think those behind it were former Marilyn Monroe boyfriends but I have nothing to support that claim. They may have been funded by the cuban mafia, not sure.

definitely want to watch it now.  You all that have seen it have given no clue as to the theory.  Bunch of tight lipped people you are.

I kind of always figured it was an inside job.  Especially after shooting a Carcano.  I really can't see how the accepted view point happened

interesting, if it was a ND, man that would really be the craziest reason ever. though, they slowed it down to the point you can see his head go pop..

Well I suppose I have to watch it now. Thanks for the recommendation, the details (or lack thereof) of his assassination have always intrigued me

The idea is that there was a legitimate assassination attempt but that the fatal shot came from a secret service agent by way of ND. All very possible, but also debatable. There is strong evidence contrary, three gunshots and three spent cases found in the book depository. Theory is two are from the shooting that day, but the third was either a round fired previously and never ejected until just before the shooting, or a spent round being used as a chamber plug or snap cap.

It does do a very good job cleaning up the whole magic bullet theory. Once you see the real layout of the car it all comes together. It's worth watching if for nothing else
